In celebration of Pride Month this June, the Center of Excellence has partnered with the Mid-America Prevention Technology Transfer Center (PTTC) on a Pride Month Podcast Series.

We have exciting news! We are working with colleagues in Amsterdam and Budapest to have our AFFIRM Youth materials translated into Dutch and Hungarian! What an honour to be able to extend the outreach of our interventions even further!

AFFIRM Youth has been added to the list of programs and services planned for review by the Title IV-E Prevention Services Clearinghouse!

The Title IV-E Prevention Services Clearinghouse was established by the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). It conducts objective, transparent reviews of research on programs and services that aim to provide enhanced support to children and families and prevent foster care placements.

We are thrilled to be bringing AFFIRM to more communities in the United States through our work with four fantastic organizations. These folks have been awarded spots in the Adult AFFIRM Learning Collaborative through the Centre of Excellence on LGTBQ+ Behavioral Health Equity:

SunServe in Fort Lauderdale Florida;

L.A. CADA in Los Angeles, California;

Options Counseling and Family Services in Portland, Oregon; and

Wheeler Clinic in Hartford, Connecticut.
